Acceptance of the terms
By accessing or using CaloriesCam, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use CaloriesCam. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
What CaloriesCam provides
CaloriesCam offers food scanning, calorie and macro estimates, nutrition tracking, calculators, content, demos, and related digital services. The service may change over time, and some features may be added, modified, or removed.
No medical advice
CaloriesCam provides general nutrition and wellness information only. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency assistance. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical or dietary concerns.
User content
You may submit meal photos, food logs, menu images, messages, and other content. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant CaloriesCam a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or operation of the service.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service beyond allowed use.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Use the service to harm others or promote self-harm, eating disorders, or unsafe conduct.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, trials, and features will be presented at the time of purchase. If you buy a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor or app marketplace to charge you according to the selected plan. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Billing, cancellations, refunds, and renewals may be handled by Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, or another authorized payment provider depending on where the purchase was made. Store-specific rules may apply in addition to these Terms.
Intellectual property
CaloriesCam and its related content, software, branding, design, and materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any specific feature will remain available forever.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe a user violated these Terms, created risk for the service, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers
CaloriesCam is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nutrition estimates and food recognition outputs are informational and may not be exact. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and making decisions based on their own judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaloriesCam and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice when required.
